Daniel Efune
Daniel Efune grew up accompanying his father to construction sites, unknowingly sparking a passion for development that would later become his career.
Prior to co-founding NextGen with his father, Daniel graduated cum laude from Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and International Business from the W. P. Carey School of Business. At the start of his career, Daniel worked for Scottsdale-based Meritage Homes Corporation, one of the nation’s largest single-family homebuilders. At Meritage, he underwrote more than $500 million worth of land and led the company’s National Market Research Group for Texas and Arizona. Daniel furthered his deep industry experience by becoming a licensed real estate agent in the State of Arizona.
He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, a board member of Chabad at Arizona State University, and a voting member of NextGen’s Investment Committee.
While Daniel is incredibly passionate about his position at NextGen, he spends his free time with his family. If he's not working or chasing his children, you can find Daniel on a golf course or tennis court. An avid learner, Daniel is always seeking to improve upon what exists. Along those lines, he co-founded Zark Parking Solutions in 2019 - a mobile app that answers an inefficiency he saw in parking management at apartment communities.
